This pot is unlined concrete. It's porous, and will gradually develop a beautiful patina.

Round pots look good with most plants, but work best with those that have rounded leaf shapes or where the overall shape of the plant is round. The bare concrete is neutral so works well with most plant colours. It’s very porous which suits anything that likes to dry out between waterings.
