A straight-sided hand-blown drinking glass inspired by the 1950’s design from Murano, Italy and made by La Soufflerie in Paris from 100% mouth blown recycled glass.
Made entirely made by hand, each item is unique. There may be a slight variation in colour, texture, and size between each piece. On the base of each item, you can feel the pontil mark left by the glassblower’s cane indicating that the glass was blown freehand.
La Soufflerie is a French non-profit, family owned and operated association, that aims to preserve the timeless art of glassblowing. Using only 100% recycled glass, each piece is mouthblown by an expert glassblowing craftsperson in their Paris studio workshop before being transported to Delph, England to wait for a new home.
