Once treasured by Inca nobility for its silky softness, weightless warmth and durability, alpaca continues to be an excellent choice for any clothing which needs to be worn directly next to the skin. Washes beautifully at 30° C / 86° F gentle machine wash, but best to do so in a laundry bag.
