During the course of this workshop, you will design and make your own hanging planter or pot using a range of hand-building techniques including the use of formers. These will be waterproof pots you can use indoors and fill with your favourite houseplants.

At the workshop you will be using a stoneware clay which requires firing. After the workshop, your work will be bisque fired by us you can then choose which glaze you would like on your piece. We will glaze your piece for you and once it has had a second firing we will contact you to arrange collection from The Frostery Living.

Tea, Filter Coffee and light refreshments will be provided. Additional refreshments can be purchased from The Frostery Living. Workshop ticket includes one complimentary glass of prosseco, all workshop materials and two firings.

During the course of this workshop, you will design and make a ceramic bird feeder using range of hand-building techniques. These will be fired and glazed ready for you to add you own bird feed and hang in the garden.

This work is suitable for beginners or more experienced potters. All materials will be provided

Learn modern calligraphy techniques and practice creating swirly shapes and loopy letters in a relaxed workshop with Claire. The class will be mindful and encouraging, with lots of help and advice to get you started with calligraphy. All materials will be provided, and you will be able to keep your pen and nib, plus your worksheets from the day, to continue practicing at home.

Your calligraphy workshop ticket includes coffee and tea and a selection of cakes.
All materials will be provided, but if you have your own watercolours please bring those along to decorate your calligraphy! (Basic watercolours will be provided)
